American Football have released LP4

American Football released their fourth album, LP4, through Polyvinyl on May 4, 2026. The eight-song record follows American Football (LP3), the band's 2019 album, and arrives nearly three decades after the Urbana, Illinois group first began shaping its patient, open-string corner of Midwest emo.

The official Polyvinyl release page confirms a wide guest list: Hayley Williams, Ethel Cain, Toro y Moi, Brendan Yates of Turnstile, and violinist Rob Moose. The collaborations widen the frame without turning the album away from the careful pacing and clean guitar detail that make an American Football record recognizable.
